The Nabta app collects only the data needed to provide a safe, personalized experience. We do not share your data with third parties except when necessary to operate the service and as required by law.

Data we collect

• Email and account information when you sign in (e.g. Google or Firebase).
• Plant images and notes you upload for identification and diary features.
• Technical usage data (such as device type and language) to improve performance.
• Advertising ID when rewarded AdMob ads are shown — see below.

How we use data

• Operating app features: plant identification, diaries, reminders, and subscriptions.
• Authentication and security via Firebase.
• Crash reporting and performance monitoring via Sentry.
• Optional rewarded ads via Google AdMob when the free daily limit is reached.
• Server-side AI processing using providers such as Google Gemini.

Legal basis

We process data in accordance with Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and applicable international standards where relevant.

Your rights

• You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time.

• You can disable notifications from the app or device settings.
